Kahuna Açai (‘Kahuna’ means ‘a very large wave’ or an ‘expert’ in Hawaiian) welcomes all to a colourful shop brimming with beach vibes, summer tunes, and insta-worthy décor by way of cute illustrations that transport one immediately to a beach hut on a balmy Hawaiian day – the true island life. A key differentiating factor of this brand is its all-round commitment to ensuring that as far as possible, products are made and blended in-house, using thoughtfully-sourced ingredients from sustainable farms around the world. In particular for two creations, the açai berry – rather than a pre-blended mix – is used. 

 

A concise and well-curated menu offers customers refreshing, delicious and above all, healthful options to fuel a busy day ahead, offer respite after the gym, or an on-the-go snack in between appointments. 

All ingredients are made in small batches to maintain its freshness. Kahuna Açai’s granola is oven-toasted and mixed in-house; the overnight oats are made fresh daily; and their nut butters are handmade with irresistible ingredients like maple syrup, cinnamon, and even a homemade chai spice consisting of cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and star anise.
